Job Description
The Manager for Information Technology should be skilled and experienced IT Manager to oversee our team of web developers and desktop support specialists while also leading the implementation of key software solutions. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and leadership capabilities to ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure support business objectives and drive innovation.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Supervision/Team Management: Oversight and management for daily operations of the IT team. Supervise team of web developers and desktop support specialists. Assign and monitor completion of IT service requests. Responsible for monitoring team performance including professional development and performance management. Technology Management: Ensure IT systems applications and networks run efficiently and securely. Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting assistance to the team when needed. Monitor system performance and implement improvements as necessary. Software Implementation & Project Leadership: Provide IT support for software implementation projects including planning deployment and integration. Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements define project scopes and set and adhere to timelines. Ensure software solutions align with business needs and objectives. Collaborate with third party vendors and internal teams to ensure seamless integration. Manager for Information Technology: Ensure IT security policies protocols and compliance requirements are met. Manage data protection backup and disaster recovery strategies. Responsible for inventory management process and reporting. Collaboration with Business Units: Develop relationships with division business units and solicit feedback for technology needs concerns or process improvements. Assist business units with any desktop support or technology support. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field. Five 5 or more years in IT management or a similar role with experience leading teams and software implementations. Expert technical background and experience in IT infrastructure web development and software development. Experience managing software implementation projects from selection to deployment.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications such as PMP ITIL or relevant technical certifications. Working knowledge of cloud computing cybersecurity and enterprise software solutions.
Work Schedule
Monday Friday; 8:00am 5:00pm.
