ABOUT CUBIST
Cubist Systematic Strategies an affiliate of Point72 deploys systematic computerdriven trading strategies across multiple liquid asset classes including equities futures and foreign exchange. The core of our effort is rigorous research into a wide range of market anomalies fueled by our unparalleled access to a wide range of publicly available data sources.
ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design develop and maintain highperformance trading systems and infrastructure to support systematic trading strategies
- Develop and maintain robust data pipelines for realtime and historical market data ensuring data integrity and accessibility
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of trading systems and data pipelines to ensure reliability and accuracy
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams including researchers traders and technology to align system capabilities with business needs
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or a related field
- 2 years of experience in quantitative development preferably within a trading or financial services environment
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python C or Java
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work with complex systems
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards
