Job Description
Job Title: Data Scientist AI/ML Focus
Location (Hybrid/Onsite/Remote): Hybrid (Onsite Monday Thursday Houston TX)
Visa Allowed: USC/GC/GCEAD
Candidate must be local to Houston for mandatory onsite work Mon Thurs
PhD or aspiring PhD highly preferred
Experience with Palantir will secure an interview
Develop and finetune AI/ML models including LLMs for predictive analytics automation and AIpowered tools
Conduct data collection blending analysis and feature engineering from structured and unstructured sources
Build NLP/LLMbased applications focusing on prompt engineering and model optimization
Translate complex AI/ML outputs into actionable business decisions
Deploy and monitor ML models in production using MLOps best practices
Present findings through compelling storytelling visualizations and dashboards
Experience in AI/ML including NLP LLMs (e.g. GPT BERT) deep learning
Proficiency in Python and frameworks like PyTorch TensorFlow Hugging Face
Strong SQL and data engineering capabilities
Familiar with AWS (SageMaker S3 Redshift) Snowflake and ML pipeline automation
Comfortable with Git for version control
Soft Skills:Curious proactive and driven to innovate
Strong business acumen and decisionmaking support skills
Excellent communicatorable to convey AI concepts to nontechnical stakeholders
PhD or Masters in Computer Science Data Science Statistics Engineering or similar
Palantir experience (will secure interview
Dashboarding (Power BI Streamlit Dash)
Exposure to reinforcement learning or AI agentbased systems
