Job Description
Overview
The General Medicine MD DNB Consultant plays a critical role in the healthcare system at our facility in Bhiwani Haryana. This position is pivotal in delivering highquality medical care to patients across various demographics. The consultant will be responsible for diagnosing and managing a wide range of illnesses while also taking a lead role in patient advocacy and healthcare management. Their expertise will not only enhance the health outcomes of patients but also contribute to the development of medical staff through mentorship and leadership. The consultant will engage with patients and their families to offer education on health maintenance disease prevention and treatment options. Furthermore they will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. The role requires not only clinical skills but also the ability to navigate complex healthcare systems and apply the latest evidencebased medicine practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and examinations.
- Diagnose a range of medical conditions based on patient history and tests.
- Develop implement and evaluate comprehensive treatment plans.
- Monitor patients progress and adjust treatment protocols as necessary.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Provide acute and chronic care management for diverse patient populations.
- Deliver patient and family education regarding managing conditions and treatments.
- Lead and participate in case discussions to improve patient care.
- Perform procedures in accordance with established guidelines and protocols.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
- Adhere to hospital policies procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in medical staff committees and quality improvement initiatives.
- Stay uptodate with advancements in medical practice and technology.
- Participate in the training and mentoring of medical residents and interns.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DNB in General Medicine from a recognized institution.
- State medical license to practice in Haryana.
- A minimum of 35 years of clinical experience in a hospital or clinic setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Experience with electronic medical records and healthcare informatics.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.
- Knowledge of evidencebased medical practices and guidelines.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance and regulatory standards.
- Cultural competency and sensitivity to diverse patient backgrounds.
- Proficiency in conducting patient assessments and clinical procedures.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in medical education.
