Surgical Oncologist MCh DNB Consultant
Location: Bhiwani Haryana
As a Surgical Oncologist MCh DNB Consultant you will play a crucial role in the diagnosis and surgical management of cancer patients. This specialized position demands a high level of expertise and dedication as it combines surgical techniques with the nuances of oncology treatment. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive patient care that includes preoperative assessments surgical interventions and postoperative followups. Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex surgical procedures for cancer patients.
- Conduct thorough preoperative assessments and patient evaluations.
- Collaborate with oncologists and other specialists for comprehensive care.
- Develop and implement individualized surgical care plans.
- Engage in patient education regarding diagnosis and treatment options.
- Monitor postoperative recovery and manage complications.
- Participate in tumor board meetings for treatment planning.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in surgical oncology.
- Assist in clinical trials and research initiatives.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior surgical staff.
- Implement evidencebased practices in surgical oncology.
- Participate in community outreach programs to increase cancer awareness.
- Provide emotional support to patients and families.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of MCh in Surgical Oncology.
- Postgraduate DNB qualification in a relevant field.
- Licensed to practice medicine in India.
- A minimum of 5 years of surgical oncology experience.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Demonstrated surgical proficiency and technical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Prior involvement in patient education and advocacy.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Research experience in oncology is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
