Job Description

Adelphi is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support clinical services at a behavioral health facility in Travis County Texas. The ideal candidate will support daily pharmacy operations with accuracy initiative and adherence to all regulatory standards.

Compensation: $20$25/hr.

Requirements:
Must have a high school diploma or GED (or be working toward it).
Must pass a national certification exam (PTCE or ExCPT).
Must hold an active Pharmacy Technician license with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
Previous pharmacy experience required; Pyxis experience preferred.
Must be available for a 9day training (M F 8am 5pm) before resume submission.
Must follow all facility and agency policies including attendance guidelines.
Completion of all onboarding and compliance steps is mandatory before starting.
Must present a valid photo ID and negative PPD result within the past year.
Must pass urine drug screen and FBI fingerprint background check (provided).
COVID test with negative result preferred (test provided if needed).

Responsibilities:
Manage pharmacy inventory and assist with medication preparation.
Deliver medications to patient care areas as needed.
Perform inspections of medication storage rooms.
Repackage medications manually or with automation tools.
Provide support to pharmacy staff and other departments.
Follow all legal ethical and facilityspecific pharmacy guidelines.
Work independently within state board standards and facility policies.
Complete clerical duties and assist in daily pharmacy operations.
Participate in compliance training and uphold all regulatory standards.
Perform additional duties as directed by supervisory staff.
