This is a remote position.

Role Name: Financial Planning Assistant

Schedule:

  • 20 hours/week Monday to Friday 4 hours each day
  • Flexible schedule within the clients business hours: 8am to 6pm Indianapolis time
  • Client Timezone: US Eastern Time

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving financial planning practice at a pivotal moment in its growth. You ll work directly with the founder to support essential client service operations gaining valuable exposure to the financial planning industry while working with modern financial technology platforms. This role offers the perfect blend of administrative expertise and financial services experience with the potential for career growth as the practice expands. You ll be integral to maintaining the high level of service that has driven the firm s recent success working in a secure professional environment with clear processes and comprehensive training.

Responsibilities

  • Execute precise data entry into professional financial planning software
  • Process and organize confidential client financial documentation
  • Generate and compile detailed client reports and financial plans
  • Verify and maintain accurate beneficiary information
  • Support retirement planning processes through systematic data management
  • Manage and organize client calendar activities
  • Follow and help refine detailed process templates
  • Identify and flag items requiring additional review
  • Maintain meticulous records while ensuring data security
  • Coordinate with secure client portals and documentation systems

Requirements

  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • MUST HAVE A WINDOWS OS COMPUTER
  • Strong organizational skills and systematic approach to tasks
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and process documentation
  • Professional written and verbal English communication skills
  • Stable highspeed internet connection
  • Experience working in secure remote environments
  • Availability during US Eastern business hours
  • Comfort working with financial software systems
  • Financial services or accounting background preferred but not required
  • Strong commitment to maintaining client confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently while following established procedures
  • Professional home office setup with minimal distractions
