Role Overview / Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with over 5 years of experience to streamline our software development lifecycle through efficient processes and automation tools. The ideal candidate will manage and scale robust containerized applications maintain CI/CD pipelines and ensure secure scalable AWS cloud infrastructure. This remote position requires proficiency in Docker Kubernetes Terraform Ansible Python scripting and strong experience in cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities / Job Responsibilities:

• Containerization:
  

  • Deploy and manage applications effectively using Docker and Kubernetes (v1.28.
    

  • Ensure high availability and scalability of containerized environments.
    

  
  

• Infrastructure & CI/CD Implementation:
  

  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins AWS CodePipeline and similar automation tools.
    

  • Automate deployment integration and testing processes globally.
    

  
  

• Cloud Infrastructure Management:
  

  • Use Terraform to provision deploy and manage AWS cloud infrastructure.
    

  • Optimize cloud environments to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
    

  
  

• Automation & Scripting:
  

  • Automate manual tasks and upgrades using Ansible (Ansible Tower) Python and Shell scripting.
    

  • Regularly update automation scripts to maintain efficient infrastructure operations.
    

  
  

• Scaling & Monitoring:
  

  • Build scalable infrastructure solutions to support rapid growth and increasing demands.
    

  • Implement robust monitoring alerting and troubleshooting strategies for high performance.
    

  
  

• Collaboration & Best Practices:

Requirements

What We Look For:

5 years of relevant experience in DevOps or a similar role.

Containerization Expertise:

Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes 1.28.

CI/CD and Automation Tools:

Handson experience with Jenkins AWS CodePipeline Terraform and Ansible.

Cloud Expertise:

Strong knowledge of AWS services and provisioning.

Familiarity with other IaaS platforms is a plus.

Programming and Scripting:

Proficiency in Python Go Shell Scripting and Ansible.

Microservices and Debugging:

Understanding of microservices architecture and advanced debugging techniques.

Networking and Troubleshooting:

Strong understanding of systems networking and troubleshooting methodologies.

Cloud Monitoring and Cost Management:

Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools for cloud environments and cost optimization.
