Job Description:
As an RN you will play a key role in delivering highquality patientcentered care across various units (e.g. MedicalSurgical ICU Emergency Room Pediatrics etc.. You will work closely with physicians other nursing staff and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes and enhance the patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care including assessing planning implementing and evaluating patient care plans.
- Monitor patient status including vital signs medical history and symptoms to assess their condition and response to treatment.
- Administer medications intravenous therapies and other treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions treatments medications and preventive care.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Advocate for patients by providing emotional support and ensuring their comfort.
- Document patient care and treatment procedures accurately and timely using electronic health records (EHR).
- Respond to emergencies participate in patient triage and assist in critical care procedures as needed.
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in State.
- Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
- years of experience as an RN (preferred) with experience in specific units e.g. ICU ER Pediatrics.
- Knowledge of clinical best practices healthcare regulations and patient care protocols.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic healthcare environment.
- Strong critical thinking and problemsolving abilities.
- CPR and BLS certifications required (ACLS PALS or other certifications may be preferred depending on the unit).
