Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable General Maintenance Technician to join our team in Grand Mercure Bangalore. As a key member of our facilities management team you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our building systems and equipment.
- Perform routine inspections of premises and equipment
- Conduct preventative maintenance on various building systems (HVAC plumbing electrical etc.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in building systems and equipment
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
- Assist in the implementation of energysaving and sustainability initiatives
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry standards and best practices
- Manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
Qualifications :
- Diploma Degree ITI or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
- Proven experience as a General Maintenance Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of various maintenance tasks including electrical plumbing and HVAC systems
- Proficiency in using and maintaining a wide range of tools and equipment
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
