Introduction
PROCESS ENGINEER (Stamping) Automotive Industry Pretoria
An established automotive components manufacturer is looking for a Process Engineer (Stamping) to join their dynamic team in Pretoria. If you have automotive industry experience with a strong background in stamping/press processes this could be your next career move!
Shift Position
Requirements:
- Qualification in Total Quality Management
- Mechanical Diploma / Toolmaker Trade / Millwright Trade
- 3 years experience in quality/process engineering within an automotive stamping environment
- Expertise in quality core tools: SPC MSA FMEA and Control Plans ESSENTIAL
- Proficiency in MS Excel & MS Projects
- Ability to analyze & implement corrective actions Robotic assembly experience is essential
Strong knowledge of:
- Quality systems and manufacturing processes
- Customerspecific requirements
- Stamping process & measuring reports ESSENTIAL
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure customer requirements are met in terms of product quality and geometry
- Design & manufacture tooling for new products
- Create process documentation and oversee continuous improvement projects
- Manage change documentation and production capacity planning
- Drive efficiency quality and compliance in manufacturing processes
