About the Role:

Stormwater Services (SWS) has an opportunity for an Administrative Specialist III. This oneyear special duty or TermLimited Temporary (TLT) position will support the section through a wide range of administrative technical/clerical and customer service support functions. In this role youll have the opportunity to participate in projects by providing purchasing document management and meeting support as needed to keep projects on schedule. Youll provide support for section management team and all staff meeting preparation as well as agreements and web updates. There will be opportunities to take on more complex financial tasks take the lead on small projects and create new guidelines around the work. The skills and experience gained in this position can lead to a role in finance contracts or program management.

This position performs work remotely and onsite.

The Water and Land Resources Division (WLRD) is a diverse multidisciplinary organization committed to protecting restoring and managing King Countys water and land resources. Our work is powered by the Stormwater Management Enterprise Fund and grounded in the best available science driven by innovation and strengthened through collaboration with community partners.

Within WLRD the Stormwater Services (SWS) Section leads efforts to manage stormwater runoff and surface water ensuring public safety improving water quality restoring aquatic habitats protecting properties and meeting county state and federal requirements.

  • Experience with SharePoint file management experience in website development and editing using Sitecore.

  • Expert user in Oracle.
  • Knowledge of financial rules regulations codes laws policies and procedures.
