Job Description

Position Summary
Villanova University invites applications for adjunct teaching positions in Classical Studies for undergraduate and/or graduate (M.A. courses. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester (e.g. Latin and/or ancient Greek language at all levels Latin and/or ancient Greek literature Greek and/or Roman history/culture). The applicant must be committed to excellence in teaching. Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian order. Duties And Responsibilities
Teaching and related duties will vary with the specific course(s) being taught. Graduate (M.A. courses will be taught either online or simulcast (campus and online).

Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must have an M.A. in Classics and be working towards a Ph.D. in Classics or related field. Candidates must have teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. in Classics. For graduate (M.A. courses experience teaching online.
