Job Description
Sony Pictures Classics is a division of Sony Pictures Entertainment which celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2022. SPC distributes produces and acquires independent films animated films and documentaries from the United States and around the world.
The Sales department of Sony Pictures Classics is seeking a talented Coordinator to join the team. The job responsibilities include:
The Sales Coordinators responsibilities encompass but are not limited to:
- Maintain accurate theatre information in booking and billing system
- Coordinate and book press festival early access and special event screenings
- Send out trade letters to exhibitors and set up exhibitor trade screenings in all markets
- Input and maintain Airtable data
- Book (sell) all SPC newrelease titles in theatres in territories designated by Director Sales
- Support Sales Department by researching and tracking upcoming film releases
- Back up to Manager NonTheatrical Sales
Job requirements:
- Demonstrated passion for independent and foreign cinema and the independent film marketplace
- Strong administrative skills experience with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign a plus
- Detailoriented organized and excellent problemsolving ability
- Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
- Foreign Language ability a plus
- BA preferred
- 1 2 years related experience
