About the job
SAS Risk Fraud & Compliance R&D division produces leadingedge solutions used to detect and prevent financial crime implement sanctions screening aide criminal investigations etc. we are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer to design build and support scalable automated test frameworks tools and test suites to ensure quality within expected timelines during the development cycle.
As a Senior Software Developer you will:
- Create and maintain high quality of test automation using modern development techniques both inside and outside of the CDP and provide key data points to support metricsbased decision making.
- Produce and analyze metrics that illustrate the quality of applications and develop insight that drives the direction of quality engineering.
- Work collaboratively with development product and devops teams to promptly triage test failures with precisionand accuracy maintaining the health of the build pipeline.
- Engages in code reviews for product test and infrastructure code.
- Understands the role of deployment migration security and performance in the continuous delivery lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related quantitative field
- 8 years of experience developing automated tests with experience using the Robot framework
- 8 years of experience using Python or Java
- Experience working in an agile software development environment including sprint planning and delivery of sprint commitments Jira
- Test design and implementation experience with webbased microservices REST interfaces and the OpenAPI specification
- Has developed innovative best practice solutions that improve quality engineering across team or divisional boundaries
- Demonstrated ability to distinguish between testing layers match the correct approach to each situation and design effective quality gates based on these layers.
- Experience working with container platforms and technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes and cloud deployments
- Proficient withsource control management techniques (including branching code reviewand merging.
- Customizing deployment migration security and performance in the continuous delivery lifecycle
- Improve mean time to resolution by leading triage with precision and accuracy maintaining the health of the build pipeline

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with other test frameworks used for testing software in a CI/CD pipeline
- Experience with Kubernetes and serviceoriented architecture
- Experience with Jira
- Experience with Ubuntu
