The Role:

The Sales Planner will support the sales team by creating media plans managing client communications and ensuring a seamless transition of advertising partnerships from presale to postsale. This role is ideal for someone interested in pursuing a career in sales enjoys client interaction and has a background in media. The Sales Planner will work closely with sellers to develop strategic plans and maintain strong client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and create media plans to support the sales team in securing advertising partnerships.
  • Assist sellers with client communications providing timely updates and addressing inquiries.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all presale information is effectively transitioned to the postsale leads.
  • Analyze client needs and objectives to recommend appropriate media strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to clients.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service.
  • Promote and uphold the companys commitment to Equity Diversity and Inclusion.

Qualifications:

  • 12 years of experience in a mediarelated role preferably in sales support at a TV or digital company.
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in sales; outgoing and clientfocused personality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage in client conversations.
  • Familiarity with media planning concepts and terminology (e.g. CPMs).
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Enthusiastic about innovation positive change and collaboration.

Location:

  • This individual must be located within a commutable distance of TIMEs New York City office at the time of hire and will be expected to work onsite as needed typically three days per week.
