Ballys Corporation is a global casinoentertainment company with a growing omnichannel presence currently owning and managing 15 casinos across 10 states a golf course in New York a horse racetrack in Colorado and having access to OSB licenses in 18 states. The recent acquisition of Aspers Casino in Newcastle UK further expands its international footprint and enhances its diverse entertainment offerings. Upon completion of the announced merger with The Queen Casino & Entertainment Inc. (Queen) the above portfolio is expected to be supplemented with four additional casinos across three states one of which will be an additional state that expands Ballys jurisdiction of operations to include the state of Iowa. Queen will also add over 900 employees and operations that currently include approximately 2400 slot machines 50 table games and 150 hotel rooms to the Ballys portfolio. Ballys will also become the successor of Queens significant economic stake in a global lottery management and services business through its investment in Intralot S.A. (ATSE: INLOT).The

The Role:

The Poker Floor Supervisor supervises all dealers on assigned shift and communicate well with other departments including Table Games and Food and Beverage. Provide Ballys Standard Service professionally handles player disputes consistent with Dealers rotations and breaking games and maintaining a clean and engaging Poker Room.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively builds and maintains relations to ensure patrons receive superior service and information to encourage return business; initiate courteous and friendly conversations with guests; greet and welcome guest to the gaming floor.
  • Listens to guest complaints and resolve situations in an equitable manner to preserve standards of customer service.
  • Informs Poker Manger of important relevant facts regarding specific players.
  • Provides gaming instructions to guests when requested or as assigned to encourage gaming activity.
  • Assists guests in playing and ensure adherence to established rules and procedures.
  • Actively supports current marketing promotions.
  • Accurately administers and oversees poker games in assigned area and shift such as maintaining table chip trays/bank roll inspecting/changing equipment as deemed necessary maintaining appropriate game spread ensuring adequate inventory of gaming supplies for area and generating various operating reports.
  • Supports staff to ensure objectives are accomplished and gaming rules regulations and internal controls are followed.
  • Opens and closes the Poker room on assigned shift; monitors games in progress to ensure dealing is fast flawless adhering to correct procedures and ensuring there is no unusual/suspicious activity between player and dealer.
  • Ensures assets are protected at all times; assist in establishment/monitoring of department standards to ensure proper planning efficient operation of card games and adherence to gaming regulations and internal controls.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with Ballys Standard Service Poker Parlor policies and procedures as well as Colorado Gaming Regulations and statutes.

  • Must be able to run Poker Tournaments.

  • Able to make decisions with guests and staff.

  • Able to multi task and be detail oriented.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years of age and have a minimum of 3 years experience as a Poker Dealer or Supervisor along with a valid Gaming License.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Knowledge of Gaming Regulation Rule 10.
  • Able to communicate in English both oral and written form.
  • Basic computer knowledge and cash handling experience.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and have great customer service.
  • Must be able to balance an impress bank of $31000
  • Must be able to make change and sell chips to players out of the impress bank
  • Must be able to balance all different types of tournament buyins.

      Salary Range: $ 20.00 $23.00
