About the Role
The Twitch Ads team oversees a sophisticated advertising ecosystem that carefully balances revenue generation with user satisfaction. We deliver promotional content across multiple channels while maintaining a seamless experience for both viewers and creators. Our team is responsible for critical ad services and integrates with Amazons extensive advertising infrastructure. These technical implementations drive essential business operations while preserving the unique viewercreator relationship that sets Twitch apart.
In this role you will report to the Senior Engineering Manager of the Ads Team and work closely with engineers from both the Twitch and Amazon Ads organizations. Your primary focus will be on developing products and features that unlock exciting new advertising functionalities and opportunities.
This position is based in New York City.
Key job responsibilities
You Will
Work with product managers technical leads and other engineers to design develop launch and operate interactive experiences
Build distributed applications at scale
Collaborate with both your team and related teams fostering shared understanding of how to solve common problems and deliver solutions
Work backwards from customer problems to drive business impact
3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
