Position Description:

Digital Consultants is seeking a Training Lead/Project Manager I. The Training Lead is responsible for the design development delivery and evaluation of all training activities for contractor personnel across the TSD. This role ensures staff are equipped to handle evolving technical requirements service procedures and CBP systems via a formalized training curriculum and ongoing knowledge assessments.


Position Duties:

  • Develop onboarding and refresher training programs for all tiers of support
  • Maintain and enhance training SOPs in compliance with CBP standards
  • Deliver rolebased technical training aligned to HDI ITIL and customer service best practices
  • Implement feedback loops and effectiveness assessments posttraining
  • Coordinate with the Quality Control Lead to align training content with performance trends and quality monitoring
  • Track compliance with mandatory CBP and DHS training (Privacy PIV Remote Access etc.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify training needs across different teams or roles.
  • Regularly update training materials and programs based on technological advancements and feedback from trainees.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify training opportunities and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Prepare and present reports on training metrics trends and areas for improvement to leadership.
Requirements
  • Clearance: CBP Background Investigation (BI).
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience designing and delivering IT service training
  • Education: Bachelors preferred
  • Familiarity with instructional design methods and tools
  • Experience with CBP systems TSD workflows and ITIL/HDI practices
  • Strong presentation coaching and documentation skills
  • Ability to assess training effectiveness through metrics and observation
  • Demonstrated ability to lead training sessions and manage training initiatives effectively.
  • Capacity to adapt training techniques based on varying learning styles and environments.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and other educational technology tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to create clear training materials and provide feedback effectively.
  • Physical Requirements: The candidate with or without reasonable accommodation must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time. The position requires the frequent use of personal computer equipment including extended periods of use of computer screens and may require occasional lifting of objects up to 50 lbs. (i.e. case of copy paper).

The salary range for this position is $75000 to $90000.
