Summary:
AGAT Laboratories is currently hiring for a General Labourerto join our Environmental logistics team. This position is a Seasonal contract for a term of May 5th August 4th 2025 working out of the Calgary location.
The successful candidate will be providing support to the logistics team with shipping/receiving of samples and other general labour activities in a warehouse is a great opportunity for someone starting out where they will gain valuable experience and direction from the Logistics Supervisor and team.
What you will be doing:
- Working in the warehouse/logistics area ensure packages cylinders samplesare handled safely and stored in proper place.
- Conduct and operate activities in safe manner ensuringall standard operating and safety procedures are followed.
- Maintain clean and organize work areas including cleaning and washing of lab equipment.
- Perform quality checks as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you bring to the table
- High school diploma.
- Previous work experience in general labour warehouseor lab setting.
- Ability tolift up to 20 kg/50 lbs on a consistent basis.
- Good communication skills with fluency in English both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks within a fastpaced work environment.
- HandEye coordination and attention to detail.
- Mature work ethic dependable with a willingness to work in a team as well as independently.
- Basic computer skills/
- Must be able to wear appropriatePPE including steel toed shoes/boots.
