About your new role:
You will be working closely with the multidisciplinary team and other stakeholders within the facility. This position is responsible for the provision of personcentered individual care to residents. Working as part of our dedicated team means you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to our residents pursuing their unique personal goals and passions enabling them to live full and meaningful lives.
A day in the life of a Residential Care Worker the physical and emotional wellbeing of residents
- Eating
- Personal hygiene tasks (such as bathing dressing personal care)
- Mobility
- Household tasks
- Leisure activities
Skills and Experience:
- Ability to engage residents though a personcentered approach to care and support
- Works well and contributes effectively within a team environment.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Hold a Certificate III/working towards attaining one(desirable) or willingness to obtain one
- Willingness to undergo a preemployment medical
- Ability to pass a National Police Check
- Ability to pass a NDIS clearance check
