Role Description:
Senior Business Systems Support Analyst is primarily responsible for supporting the users of the companys business systems and the IT systems compliance program. This position is responsible for managing enduser support requests through JIRA resolving incidents ensuring access governance and supporting SOC 1 and SOX audit readiness. The role is a member of Global Financial Business Systems within the Finance organization reporting to the Senior Manager Financial Systems providing direct support to the companys Oracle Fusion ERP implementation and supporting systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
JIRA Ticket Management & Incident Support:
Serve as the initial and primary point of contact for interfacing with customers to record track and manage incidents and service requests in the JIRA platform.
Accurately document incidents diagnose and resolve issues and/or route them to the appropriate teams for resolution or workaround implementation.
Ensure timely and effective completion of approved service requests as assigned
Supporting the quarterly release of Oracle ERP updates and monthly Oracle EPM updates in conjunction with other internal Oracle technofunctional resources and third parties
Incident Resolution and Communication:
Collaborate with users to troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues related to the Financial Systems of CoStar
Provide regular updates to stakeholders on the status of open tickets and ensure issues are resolved within established servicelevel agreements (SLAs).
Maintain detailed records of resolutions for future reference and knowledge base updates.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Work closely with the CoStar Global Financial Business Systems project teams and other support teams to ensure seamless incident management.
Assist in identifying trends or recurring issues to recommend longterm solutions and improvements to system performance.
Support the review analysis testing and release of the Oracle quarterly updates
Submit support track and report on Oracle SRs where Oracle level 3 support is warranted
Customer Support:
Deliver highquality customer service to business users by promptly addressing their concerns and inquiries.
Offer user training and guidance to enhance familiarity and efficiency in utilizing CoStar Global Financial Business Systems
Represent the Global Financial Business Systems team with a professional can do customerfirst attitude
Compliance
Prepare execute and report the quarterly User Access Reviews for the inscope Global Financial Business Systems the team is responsible for maintaining.
Support the of business systems audits for compliance to SOX Compliance and Risk Management requirements and ITGC policies
Support the review and provision of user access (new and updates) to align with CoStar SOX Compliance and Risk Management requirements
Review and document the processes and controls of the Oracle application for alignment to CoStar SOX Compliance and Risk Management requirements to meet IT Audit requirements.
Support the audit of service providers annual SOC1 and 2 reports to determine suitability of the vendors controls system and the evaluation of the acceptable operation of those controls over the effective period
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree from an accredited notforprofit University or Collegeininformation systems computer science finance accounting or related field
A track record of commitment to prior employers.
35 years of experience in IT audit IT compliance or a similar role.
35 years providing support to business users of Oracle ERP in the areas of Billing Accounts Receivable Cash applications Collections General Ledger Procurement Accounts Payable and reporting
Strong understanding of a companys ITGCs and SOX compliance requirements
Proficiency in using GRC (Governance Risk and Compliance) tools.
Analytical and business management skills with proven ability to build relationships and influence individuals at all levels of the organization.
Good communications and organizational skills to facilitate teamwork to solve customer issues and requests
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Proficiency in working in a fastpaced complex and dynamic business environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Certifications such as CISA CIA CPA or ITIL Foundation.
Participation and support of an Oracle ERP implementation.
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and data privacy regulations.
Member of a Support team serving 500 ERP business users in a global environment
