Saint Lukes Hospital of Kansas City is hiring a Program Manager for their awardwinning Spine Center!
This position is full time Monday Friday with some hybrid flexibility!
This position is responsible for the oversight of the Spine Program which includes maintaining TJC Advanced Spine Center certification. This position is directly responsible for data collection review analysis and trending of quality metrics and maintains a concurrent registry that meets compliance for the TJC certification. Participates in program planning organization and development with Hospital Leadership and the Medical Director. The position collaborates with specialty care departments and patient care units regarding all aspects of spine care from prehospitalization to rehabilitation and serves as a liaison between physician practices community resources and the hospital. The Spine Program Manager acts as a resource for facilitating staff development and other special projects. Serves as a quality and program process improvement coordinator. Assists with educational opportunities identified by specific data trends report by the data and medical director of the program. This role will oversee coordination for the Spine Program across all of SLHS.
Obtains TJC Advanced Spine Center Certification and all regular standards required.
Responsible for planning managing and evaluating the administrative operations of the SLHS Spine Center to ensure optimal productivity and daily patient flow.
Effective allocation of resources to meet demand for services patient and provider satisfaction and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
Work involves direct collaboration with the System Director of Neuroscience and Spine Medical Director to ensure that center administrative operations meet established business objectives and strategic growth objectives.
Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team regarding all aspects of care for patients within objectives.
Additional duties include performance improvement. data collection and review and trending of quality metrics.
This position serves as a liaison between the hospital and other facilities physicians and pre hospital providers.
Acts as a resource facilitating spine program and other projects.
Previous healthcare program coordination preferred.
Develop and implement an effective and robust spine program.
Grow the program throughout the health system starting at the SLH campus then starting a program at SLE then SLS and beyond.
Obtaining TJC Advanced Spine Accreditation at SLH (within one year of hire).
Obtaining SLE Primary Spine Accreditation at SLE (within 2 years of hire).
Obtaining SLS Primary Spine Accreditation at SLS (within 35 years of hire).
Overseeing all the activities and details for quality improvement PI and all initiatives within the spine program.
