DESCRIPTION:
If you are a software newgrad Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you! Reporting remotely into Kennesaw GA the Associate Agile Software Engineer will pair program with Senior Engineers with a clear development plan to promote growth within the organization.

AS AN ASSOCIATE SOFTWARE ENGINEER YOU WILL:
Assist in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Contributes to software projects
Participates in product support
Can explain and communicate technical topics to business and product teams effectively
REQUIRED EDUCATION EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent plus 02 years of experience in software development.
Knows at least a one language well
A learning niche to be an expert in at least one technical stack
Has some familiarity with operating systems
Comfortable automating some parts of the product
Enjoys paired programming and understands the scenarios where it can be helpful
Comfortable translating business requirements into a design
Has a balanced approach between getting the job done vs technical debt
Understands agile development
Ability to travel to St. Louis MO or Kennesaw GA headquarters up to 1 week per quarter.

PREFERRED EDUCATION EXPERIENCES & SKILLS
35 years of experience in software development
Has shipped multiple commercialized products
Experience in related fields e.g. customer support or data science
Experience with a functional programming language
Has an interest in the business e.g. product viability and marketing
Flexible Work Schedule Remote Work Option and Core Hours
This role has the flexibility of remote work and a core hour schedule. You can choose to flex your start and stop times given you are working during the core hours of 9:00am 3:00pm (Central Time). Our teams work together to ensure our chosen work schedules enable our creativity and productivity as we serve the needs of our customers. This role also has a travel requirement of up to 1 week per quarter to the St. Louis headquarters predetermined by leadership in advance.
Pay Transparency
Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary within the local market in which we operate and reward performance during our annual merit review process. In accordance with Colorado EPEWA the salary/pay range for this role is $USD annually commensurate with the skills talent capabilities and experience each candidate brings to a role.

Copelands TempTrak Wireless Environmental Monitoring system takes readings at regular intervals and gauges appropriate temperatures based on predetermined thresholds. Alerts are sent when temperatures are out of range and an audit trail is created. This 24/7 monitoring solution provides consistent reporting and documentation that can help your staff better protect patients and improve efficiencies facilitywide.
