Job Description
Expected Salary: $24 to $28 per hour

Brief Description
Entry Level Position. Hone Machinist is responsible for producing work meeting the drawing specifications and requirements.
Key Accountabilities
- Completes setups with supervision/assistance.
- Responsible for all phases of part operation setup to achieve first article acceptance within allotment time as a Level I machinist.
- Perform and maintain accurate inprocess quality inspection and records.
- As you learn identify and recommend process improvements that reduce part quality variation.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Desirable Experience Capabilities and Success Factors
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent
- Ability to learn all phases of part operation setup on various Hone equipment.
- CNC/Technology/Machinist trade school certification a plus.
- Ability to learn to use Air Indicators Dial Bore Gages Deltronic pin profilometers and plate inspection methods first article and inprocess inspection of precision machined parts.
- Ability to maintain required finishes close tolerances (within .0002.0005 of ODs roundness perpendicularity and concentricity.
- Some understanding of machine tool accuracies size offsets tool pressures and required tooling.
- Some knowledge of cutting tool feeds speeds and best tool life for aerospace materials.
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and interpret blueprint and quality requirements in English.
- Ability to communicate with employees and management in a positive manner.
- Ability to lift a maximum of 25 lbs. (over 25 lbs. with assistance).
- Ideal candidate will have experience with AS9100 5S Lean and Six Sigma.
- Reliability is key you will need to be on time and have minimal unscheduled time off.
- Stable work history.
