THE POSITION
Are you interested in a position where your work will support a state park filled with abundant opportunities for outdoor recreation Join the Department of Conservation & Natural Resources as a seasonal Park Maintenance Worker for the Raymond B Winter State Park Complex. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position you will perform general maintenance and repair work in the park and assist other tradespersons grounds maintenance carpentry plumbing and electrical work. You will complete routine repair jobs and preventative and operational maintenance for facilities equipment and natural resources including cleaning basic repairs and adjustments. Work also includes assisting with the maintenance of park vehicles maintaining records of jobs completed for a supervisor to review and leading individual or groups of volunteers to complete volunteer projects. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- This is a seasonal fulltime position with no healthcare benefits. There is not an option to buy into health care benefits. The season runs from approximately March 2025 until November 2025 at which time the employee will be placed on leave without pay. The employee will automatically be returned to employment approximately March 2026.
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with a 30minute lunch. 37.5 hours per week. Days vary to include weekends and holidays if needed.
- Telework:You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
