Position Title: Quality TechnicianCompany: Nolte Precise ManufacturingLocation: Cincinnati OHCompany Vision: To be an industry expert for supplying precision machined components and assemblies to OEMs in the U.S.A.Primary Job Duties:- Complete designated inspections and record results in a timely manner
- Prepare and process nonconforming material reports
- Operate CMM equipment using PCDMIS
- Support production personnel quality questions and initiatives
- Participate in the calibration program
- Verify daily maintenance and 5S standards
- Communicate work status
- Follow policies and procedures Vision Values Principles and Philosophies.
- Maintain acceptable attendance.
- Any specifically assigned task.
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:- Must be able to communicate and convey information to others.
- Must be able to use and select tools. gauges and work aids to perform task.
- Must be able to prioritize work duties to reflect frequent changes delays and/or unexpected events during the work shift.
- Must be able to precisely verify operator and machine performance against production documentation and customer specifications.
- Must be able to make decisions using the principles of logic in a timely manner.
- Excellent Math skills up to and including Statistics.
- Ability to prepare basic communication and reports.
- Advanced blueprint reading.
- Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Ability to use calibration tooling.
- Microsoft office software.
- Experience with machining or AS9100 is a plus.
- CMM programming knowledge is a plus
- Oasis programming knowledge is a plus
- Working knowledge of Discus is a plus
Physical Requirements:- Lifting up to 50lbs including bending twisting crouching etc.
- Must be able to work with oils/coolants
- Must be able to work in a noisy environment
- Must be able to frequently stand or walk for long periods of time
