You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAs a member of the health care team responsible for monitoring patients under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team or unit. Promotes a safe and comfortable environment that fosters the physiological and psychosocial wellbeing of the patient. The PCA will assist staff under the supervision of the Registered Nurse of patient lifting and patient transfer as requested.
Notifies R.N. and/or L.V.N. of relevant changes in the patients condition including but not limited to changes in V.S. level of consciousness and/or pain breathing pattern drainage amount of bleeding mood or increase and decrease in capabilities / limitations. Provides ongoing data collection to the R.N. and/or L.V.N. relative to the physiological wellbeing of the patient. Shares input from patient and family with the R.N. and/or L.V.N. caring for the patient during formulation or revision of the care plan. Demonstrates awareness of plan of care for the patient.
High school Diploma or equivalent. Basic Life Support (BLS). Managing ive Behavior Certificate (MAB). Recent experience in an acute setting preferred. Strong ability to manage numerous tasks and people at the same time is frequently required to perform the essential functions of this job. Good interpersonal skills.
Full-Time
