Job Summary
The Lead Analyst of Transmission Trading is responsible for managing Luminants transmission congestion risk in the rolling and monthly CRR auctions as well as in DayAhead and RealTime markets. Responsibilities consist of developing the pricing PointOfView to hedge the risk of delivery of power from Luminants generation locations to the delivery points such as Hubs or Load Zones. A Lead Analyst also participates actively in the identification and of speculative trades in the CRR/FTR auctions and Day Ahead Market. This position interfaces with Grid Optimization Fundamental Analysis Operations and Power Trading & Structuring.Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide electrical power transmission system/congestion analysis and price forecasting which will be used to effectively hedge the NodeToHub delivery basis risk for Luminants nuclear coal gas and wind assets
