RSM US LLP is looking for a dynamic individual to join our national Account Management team to facilitate the growth of our Technology Consulting (TC) practice! This Account Manager role will concentrate on targeting and selling RSM and Microsoft F&SC implementation upgrade and application support services to existing Microsoft license software owners both where RSM already owns the account as well as selling RSM professional services support and managed services to existing Microsoft customers (i.e. VAR flips).

This position is responsible for leading all aspects of the Microsoft sales process including systematic checkins development of opportunityspecific sales strategy development of existing account plans and selection of pursuit teams and quarterbacking the entire sales process. They are growth leaders and support the efforts of all the Microsoft practice teams as needed through regular monthly quarterly or yearly inperson/web conference meetings with our existing Microsoft customer base. This role will be assigned named accounts depending on their renewal date or other strategic need as defined by the practice leadership from timetotime. This role will also serve as a potential lead source for other lines of RSM business and work collaboratively with fellow RSM Account Mangers and Business Developers.

The individual in this position will have all the necessary resources to be set up for success for this career opportunity that provides a competitive base salary along with a lucrative incentive compensation plan. We are looking for a candidate that has a proven track record in selling across the Microsoft business applications portfolio professional services and support packages as well as prior Account Management experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify target and sell RSM and Microsoft solutions to existing Microsoft clients currently served by the firm.
  • Responsible for executing the sales plan and process including coordination of all necessary internal and external resources to best position the firm to secure the business.
  • Implement team strategy for driving revenues with existing client accounts. Work with existing client accounts on new initiatives projects update planning etc.
  • Working with the Microsoft North American Team Leaders and Client Servers to renew and upsell into our existing customer base. Work with Microsoft channels resources and teams to codevelop whitespace and upsell plans tailored to specific customer accounts.
  • Actively work networking contacts professional affiliations and industry groups and related Centers of Influence.
  • Work with Partners Directors and the Customer Services Team to prioritize existing Microsoft customer accounts to create and execute account plans accordingly
  • Support Partners and Directors in crossselling additional services to existing clients where appropriate.
  • Work closely with local and national marketing resources to develop effective targeted gotomarket plans for the RSM install base accounts.
  • Work closely with North American Sales Organization management to provide ongoing current feedback relative to market opportunities.
  • Development and of client account plans to take into consideration cross functional service opportunities as well as securing current services/revenue provided to the client.
  • Responsible for detailing key decision makers operating units and other relevant corporate profile information to aid in the identification of broader relationship opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of client opportunities that meets the North American Sales Organizations stated pipeline requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of previous experience selling ERP solutions
  • Account Management sales strategies knowledge
  • Demonstrated experience working with a variety of industries
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a comprehensive and often complex sales process involving multiple internal resources and external decisionmakers. Leadership in this role is largely based on influence and subject matter expertise rather than formal leadership roles or reporting lines
  • Experience using CRM systems for sales and/or account management planning and documentation
  • Formal sales process training (consultative selling solutionbased selling complex sales or related consultative selling approaches)
  • Strong executive presence and professional image and excellent negotiation skills
  • Excellent phone communication and organization skills required
  • Exhibit strong business acumen skills and maturity
  • Demonstrated experience participating in the creation of proposals and Statements of Work
  • Travel is required (local and overnight when appropriate)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior solution selling training and support is a plus including programs developed by Microsoft for their channel
  • Ability to develop industry knowledge through the use of firm data training and thought leadership.
  • Active network of Clevel contacts as well as contacts throughout the Microsoft community
  • Demonstrated community involvement and activity with industry associations civic and/or nonprofit groups
  • Experience working within the Microsoft ecosystem a significant plus

At RSM an employees pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including but not limited to education skills work experience certifications location etc. As such pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $100000 $171100

Individualsselected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
