Job Description

You will be contacted directly by the facility after applying to this Florida Lawnwood Hospital is seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our team located along the beautiful Treasure Coast of Florida. There is a new Allopathic Emergency Medicine Residency Program starting in 2025!!ED Profile:Level II Trauma Center61000 annual patient visits in Main ED and 16000 in Peds ED42bed ED including 5 fast track plus 5 monitored beds3 trauma bays including 1 pediatric2.0 pph70 hours total of physician coverage (main ED and Peds ED incl)60 hours of APP coverage26 Admit rateEMR is Meditech Pdoc and dragon dictationComprehensive Stroke facility with biplaneInterventional cardiac cath facilitycode ice facility with therapeutic hypothermia capabilitySeveral dedicated ED glide scopes and US machines24 hour inhouse Hospitalist and IntensivistsNo floor code or consult responsibilitiesIC1099 contractor status (malpractice with tail covered)Highest paid rates in South FLVery generous Bonus Package!!!Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM). Must also have Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Must have completed an EM Residency and Board Certified within 5 years. **Provider will also be responsible for coverage at the Vero FSED 23 times a month mixed in their schedule with Lawnwood ED**
