Job Description

Benefits Specialist Manager

Position Summary:

The Senior Manager International Benefits Delivery will serve as a functional leader overseeing all operational aspects of benefits delivery. This role is responsible for ensuring a highquality employee experience and compliance with applicable laws and regulations while managing a geographically dispersed team of employee benefits specialists. The Senior Manager will drive strategic initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and engagement with benefits programs ensuring alignment with organisational goals and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Position Responsibilities:

Leadership and Functional Management:

  • Provide functional leadership for a global team managing and developing employees to implement and sustain comprehensive employee benefits programmes that meet the diverse needs of the workforce.
  • Oversee the thirdparty operations team by establishing and monitoring service level agreements (SLAs) analysing project metrics and recommending corrective actions to ensure optimal performance.
  • Establish interpret and enforce policies and procedures that impact interdependent processes within other organisational units ensuring clarity and compliance.
  • Facilitate highly matrixed integration requirements to promote effective collaboration among various teams and achieve shared objectives.
  • Advise and influence stakeholders to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problems actively participating in the establishment and administration of multiple projects.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and performance excellence within the team ensuring that all members are equipped to meet their objectives and contribute to the overall success of the organisation.

Operational Efficiency and Strategic Planning:

  • Optimise resource utilisation to reduce expenses and maximise productivity through Lean process improvements. Identify risks and develop control plans to mitigate them ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Provide expert advice on benefit plan design changes and facilitate the implementation of new or modified plans ensuring compliance and a positive employee experience.
  • Support corporate restructuring acquisitions and divestitures by aligning benefits strategies with organisational changes and employee needs.

Vendor Management:

  • Manage supplier relationships evaluate proposals and ensure quality delivery in alignment with established SLAs fostering strong partnerships that enhance service delivery and program effectiveness.

Program Development and Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and opportunities within the benefits landscape developing mitigation plans and refining business cases to enhance project outcomes and ensure organizational effectiveness.

Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Establish frequent contacts with managers and external representatives concerning projects operational decisions and scheduling requirements ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Interact with internal and external management and seniorlevel representatives to influence decisionmaking and ensure alignment with organizational goals fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Coordinate with matrixed interdependent teams and process partners to ensure seamless of benefits initiatives and projects.

Required Skills:

  • Strong communication skills to convey information effectively and engage diverse audiences fostering an inclusive environment.
  • Excellent customer service orientation providing timely support for escalated cases and fostering satisfaction and trust among employees and stakeholders.
  • Advanced data analysis and management skills with the ability to evaluate performance and interpret results for strategic recommendations that drive program improvements.
  • Proven project management capabilities with the ability to plan organize and oversee the of interrelated projects to achieve strategic objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problemsolving and strategic thinking skills demonstrating goaldirected action in complex situations and the ability to navigate challenges effectively.
  • Detailoriented with effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Leadership and navigation skills to guide decision processes and influence others effectively promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

This role requires a dynamic leader who can balance strategic vision with operational ensuring that international benefits delivery aligns with the organizations goals while enhancing the employee experience.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 8 years of experience in employee benefits delivery including customer experience operations implementations and metrics/KPIs.
  • 5 years of experience in leading direct reports and vendor/subcontract management.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree preferred with strong knowledge of benefits compliance requirements and HR systems including Darwin Workday Benefits module and Service Now
  • Proven ability to build operational processes and drive program efficiency with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Excellent analytical problemsolving and communication skills with demonstrated project management experience.

Work Authorization:This requisition is for a locally hired position. Candidates must have current legal authorization to work immediately in one of the indicated locations. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing payroll.

Travel:Up to 15 as needed to support global initiatives.

Other Duties:Perform other duties as assigned.
