Decision Science Analyst

Location: Leeds Thorpe Park Hybrid working.

But enough about us. Lets talk about your new role with Lowell.

As Decision Science Analyst youll be responsible for developing predictive models for different functions in the business such as strategy finance pricing forecasting & litigation. Youll also be responsible for presenting analysis to stakeholders within the team and across the wider company.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Build enhance and maintain predictive models using the most appropriate statistical and machine learning methodologies.
  • Be responsible for presenting analysis to stakeholders within the team and across the wider company.
  • Gain understanding of Lowells core business model and identify opportunities to drive significant value through analytic intervention.
  • Work closely with other members of the team to build upon existing machine learning knowledge.

What we need from you:

  • Degree in a quantitative discipline with a focus in statistics or econometrics.
  • Experience building one or more of logistic regression generalised linear models or categorical data analysis.
  • Experience with one or more machine learning methods (e.g. random forest kmeans clustering).
  • Hands on experience of numerical programming (using e.g. Python R).
  • Solid critical thinking skills intellectual curiosity and a willingness to keep looking for better answers.
  • Strong coding experience
