Duties:
The successful candidate will be responsible for 2 courses which have both lecture and weekly lab components each semester. These will include sections of both introductory programming courses (e.g. our introduction to computer science and data structures courses) and advanced computer science courses (e.g. hardware courses such as machine organization/architecture or networking theory courses such as analysis of algorithms and theory of computation and/or application courses with projects such as databases event programming etc. which will be determined based on department needs and the successful candidates interests.
Qualifications:
A Ph.D. ABD or Masters degree in Computer Science or a closely related field is required at the time of appointment. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching within a liberal arts setting and who have experience teaching collegelevel computer science courses as the instructor of record.
