ABOUT THE POSITION:

The successful candidate will be given an opportunity to participate in improving other peoples lives by delivering personcentred services working with a range of clients (across the age span) with various needs (from shortterm involvement to complex longterm needs).This will involve but is not limited to:

  • Conducting arange ofPsychological assessments of a clients presenting issues and support needs and identifying appropriate supports interventions and service models;
  • Preparing writing and delivering Psychological and other specific assessment reports;
  • Providing clientcentred therapy and direct treatments;
  • Providing behaviour support for children and adults with complex disability and psychosocial support needs complex mental health issues and trauma based presentations;
  • Working with a multidisciplinary team to optimise outcomes.

Our office is based in Success. The position will requireregular travel around the Perth metro area and occasional regional travel. Opportunities for interstate / remote area projects are available to our team of practitioners at is also an option to work from home for administration / report writing.



Skills And Experiences

CRITERIA:

  1. Tertiary qualification in Psychology and full AHPRA registration;
  2. Practitioner registration with the NDIS Commission;
  3. Experience in working with people with intellectual disabilities mental health issues and / or experiences of trauma who have complex needs;
  4. Experience in working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other neurodiverse populations;
  5. Experience in providing clinical and / or behaviour assessment intervention and support in the disability outofhome care and / or other relevant sectors;
  6. Experience in the provision of practice or clinical supervision to other practitioners;
  7. Experience working with individuals who have had contact with the juvenile justice or criminal justice system is desirable but not essential.

Due to the nature of our business it is required that our staff:

  • have a current Drivers Licence;
  • have a current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening or the ability to attain these checks;
  • are willing to adhere to the Government requirements regarding vaccinations for workers in certain sectors.
