The PreLitigation Paralegal Supervisor plays a critical role in supervising the administrative responsibilities of the Civil Case Manager team. This role requires strong leadership a deep understanding of personal injury law and the ability to optimize workflows ensure compliance and support team development. In addition to overseeing the team the Paralegal Supervisor will also manage a small caseload.


What youll be doing:

  • Supervise and mentor a team of 10 paralegals and case managers providing guidance on case management and legal procedures.
  • Conduct performance reviews and implement strategies for professional growth and team efficiency.
  • Provide constructive feedback and recommendations to management regarding team performance.
  • Audit and approve team members timecards for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Approve and manage timeoff requests to ensure adequate team coverage.
  • Ensure the team is in compliance with firm policies procedures and case deadlines.
  • Act as a liaison between the Litigation Paralegal team and management communicating updates and addressing concerns.
  • Support team members in managing complex or highpriority cases.
  • Oversee both prelitigation and litigation processes ensuring timely and accurate case progression.
  • Ensure compliance with South Carolina personal injury laws firm policies and ethical standards.
  • Attend required morning and monthly meetings.
  • Performs other job duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Who you are:

  • High School Diploma or GED (required).
  • Bachelors degree or paralegal certification (preferred).
  • 3 years of proven experience as a Case Manager or Paralegal.
  • 1 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Strong organizational problemsolving and timemanagement skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in case management software (e.g. Litify) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Capable of balancing individual caseload responsibilities with supervisory duties.
