Responsibilities
Essential Functions 1. Answer phones and direct visitors to the appropriate person or team. 2. Distribute mail. 3. Assist with maintenance of office equipment and arrange for service calls as needed. 4. Assist with new employee desk equipment set up and provide basic office supplies. 5. Creates archives and maintains electronic and paper files. 6. Assist with ordering and stocking office supplies. 7. Stock organize and inventory paper and toner for office copiers/printers. 8. Basic data entry and internet searches. 9. Scanning and electronic filing. 10. Assist with other office duties as needed. Problem Solving The incumbents in this position are expected to be familiar with the departments policies and procedures and are required to have a working knowledge of University and department organizations and procedures in order to answer and assist staff and visitors. Minimum Qualifications
Must be awarded federal Work Study High school diploma or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) required. One year fulltime customer service experience or equivalency demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills also required. Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description. This position is patientsensitive and must fulfill all associated requirements.
