Do you have a passion for making a real difference in the lives of people living with mental health challenges and disabilities At Easterseals PORT Health were seeking a compassionate and dedicated fulltime Qualified Professional to join our team in Kinston NC. As a valued member of our collaborative and supportive team you will work together to transform the lives of individuals seeking assistance for substanceuse.
What Youll Do
As a Qualified Professional (QP) on our team you will contribute significantly to the wellbeing of the individuals under your care by coordinating their individualized needs in conjunction with their full care team. As part of this team the QP complete screenings and intakes for new patients evaluations and assessments develop treatment plans to work toward positive outcomes coordinate followup care and provide referrals to other services as needed. This QP also facilitates our enhanced services to include SAIOP and SAICOT group sessions.

Youll earn a competitive salary $21 23 / hour) based on your experience and enjoy a fulltime flexible work schedule / 40 hours per week with some evening flexibility for program and client group scheduling needs. We also offer competitive benefits for benefitseligible positions.

What Were Looking For
To join our team as the Qualified Professional you must have indepth knowledge of different therapeutic approaches and group techniques as well as their practical application possess toptier communication and documentation skills be adept at problem solving and deescalation in times of crisis. We also require:
- Must meet the NC minimum standards for a Qualified Professional
- Have experience with the substanceuse population
- Maintain valid state appropriate drivers license and auto insurance for personal and agency vehicles utilized for work
- Must be able to work independently have strong verbal and written communication skills
