Job Summary: Assist Maintenance Technicians in repairing installing and maintaining equipment building and grounds. Perform such tasks as directed by Team Lead Manager or other authorized person including but not limited to painting cleaning grass cutting snow removal yard work having company vehicles maintained or repaired performing errands etc. Proceed on work assignments with a minimum of close supervision and direction to perform quality work.
Job Duties:
- Perform supervised work on facilities equipment systems and machines replacing defective parts.
- May remove dust dirt grease and waste material from machines.
- Paints machines equipment or physical structures.
- Patches or replaces plaster or plasterboard and paints walls ceilings and floors.
- Assist Maintenance Technicians with maintenance repair installing fabricating adjusting rebuilding etc.
- Perform regular inspections and maintain records for fire prevention and extinguishing equipment lifting equipment etc.
- Using Maintenance vehicle pick up and deliver materials supplies and equipment.
- Perform janitorial duties
- May be assigned to other departments
- Cleans work area tools and equipment.
- Prepare conference or training rooms for meetings as required.
- Perform preventative maintenance as required.
- Recognize operating irregularities safety hazards and notify proper personnel to correct
- Works safely at ALL times and complies with safety regulations regarding the use of protective equipment and devices.
- Performs other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as directed by Team Lead Manager other authorized person.
- Must perform as a team member with the willingness and attitude to work with others to resolve problems. Must also maintain good working relationship with others within the organization.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with mechanical methods and procedures is essential
- Must be able to demonstrate good troubleshooting and repair skills ability to work with minimal supervision have good communications skills and must be willing to do a variety of different jobs
- Team attitude is essential
Additional Information:
- 3rd shift is Monday Thursday 8:00PM6:00AM
- Starting pay for this role is $18.05 $1.00 3rd shift premium
- Relocation assistance is not offered for this position

Summary Pay Range:
$18.05 $22.55Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market locationjobrelated knowledge skills individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
