Job Description
Overview
Overview: The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) provides specialized care to patients with mental health conditions in collaboration with a psychiatrist(s). The APP assesses patients interprets diagnostic test/results and develops and implements treatment plans to address the patients unique needs in collaboration with other healthcare professionals. This position is outpatientbased preference to local licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners with one to three years experience in an outpatient psychiatric setting.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities: The APP role requires a high level of clinical expertise and the ability to work with patients who may have complex mental health needs. Provides psychiatric care in the outpatient setting full time.
Qualifications
Qualifications: Active North Carolina Board of Nursing Nurse Practitioner License Drug Enforcement Administration License (North Carolina) Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification preferred. Physician AssistantCertified and active North Carolina Medical Board License Drug Enforcement Administration License (North Carolina) with current/previous experience in outpatientbased psychiatric care.
