The Role
ABC International Development (ABCID) is looking for an experienced Gender Equality Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) Specialist to join its team.
Based in the Research unit the role will work closely with a team based across Australia and the IndoPacific region on projects that support a more professional diverse and inclusive media. The GEDSI specialist will be able to conduct high quality evidencebased GEDSI analysis based on a strong understanding of Australias GEDSI framework and policy.
The role is responsible for ensuring our international development projects actively contribute to gender equality disability and social inclusion meeting contractual obligations. This will involve research monitoring and evaluation activities as well as supporting project teams with advice from community level actions to strategic high level inputs and oversight.
You may liaise with stakeholders prepare reports and project plans and ensuring activities embed GEDSI approaches delivered to a schedule. You will work collaboratively with our team developing strategic partnerships and contributing to a positive team culture.
