Description

This critical leadership position will serve as the key architecture leader for material planning logistics and fulfillment functions. You will be responsible for the technical design and integrated architecture to support the successful delivery of IT investments to modernize Material Inventory mgmt. systems and processes with added focus on implementing futureforward technologies that power material planning and fulfillment including analytics AI/ML and digital twin capabilities



Responsibilities
  • Technical Architecture Design:
    • Evolve the overall technical architecture for the Material Management modernization program encompassing the SAP S4/HANA platform integration points with other systems data migration strategies and security considerations with special focus on Reporting needs for the application
    • Develop and maintain detailed technical specifications ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
    • Collaborate with the integration leads to ensure seamless integration between technical and functional aspects of the project.
  • Solution Design & Development:
    • Lead the design and development of technical solutions for key functionalities within the Material Management module including inventory management reporting and supplier collaboration.
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams ensuring adherence to architectural principles and coding standards.
    • Identify and propose innovative solutions to address technical challenges and optimize system performance.
  • Legacy System Integration & Migration:
    • Define and oversee the technical aspects of the migration process from the legacy mainframe application to SAP S4/HANA and GCP
    • Collaborate with data migration specialists to ensure accurate and efficient data transfer including data mapping cleansing and transformation.
    • Design and implement integration strategies for legacy systems and thirdparty applications.
  • Technology Selection & Evaluation:
    • Research and evaluate emerging technologies and solutions relevant to the project recommending bestfit options based on technical feasibility costeffectiveness and longterm sustainability.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in Supply Chain and Data Integration technologies with experience in SAP S4/HANA and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) architecture is preferred.
  • Technical Leadership & Collaboration:
    • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
    • Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders ensuring alignment and understanding.
    • Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks ensuring project success and minimizing potential disruptions.


Qualifications

Youll have

  • Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field
  • 10 years of progressive experience in architecture technology and software functions with a focus on supply chain management specifically with SAP ERP software
  • Solid functional knowledge of supply chain business processes and applications
  • Proven experience integrating and implementing data analytics artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions to deliver tangible business value
  • Expertise in designing and implementing data products and pipelines in cloud platforms (GCP)
  • Experience with legacy system migration projects particularly from mainframe platforms
  • Strong knowledge of data migration strategies data modeling and integration technologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and business teams
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external partners

  • Strong interpersonal skills demonstrating professionalism in all actions.
  • Experience working with global teams and external partners
  • Develop and maintain strong knowledge of the business functional areas (Material & Inventory Management) for Supply Chain
  • Technical excellence in software design development and deployment.
  • Familiar with building cloudbased data platform and/or building data products
