As a Product Director in API Marketplace Platform you lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers. Job responsibilities

Oversees the product roadmap vision development risk management and business growth targets
Leads the entire product life cycle through planning and future development by continuously adapting developing new products and methodologies managing risks and achieving business targets like cost features reusability and reliability to support growth
Coaches and mentors the product team on best practices such as solution generation market research storyboarding mindmapping prototyping methods product adoption strategies and product delivery enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives
Owns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives
Monitors market trends conducts competitive analysis and identifies opportunities for product differentiation
Manages the creation and delivery of platform capabilities throughout the development process including but not limited to defining product requirements overseeing implementation ensuring product adoption continuous product expansion and demonstrating advocacy
Serves as a key leader in production ideation management requirements gathering vendor engagement and roadmap
Sets strategic vision and drive production ideation management requirements gathering vendor engagement as well as roadmap while regularly updating leadership and stakeholders
Documents and owns product management practice that will act as a guide for business and technical teams to build launch and market products
Partners with engineering leadership to ensure collaboration and alignment among teams
Organizes prioritizes and escalates critical issues and required information to facilitate efficient decision making; establish priorities and provide oversight and guidance to team of those priorities

Required qualifications capabilities and skills
8 years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products projects or technology applications
Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle technical design and data analytics
Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery ideation strategic development requirements definition and value management
Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions
Bachelors degree in computer science engineering mathematics or other related disciplines
Technical knowledge to propose and influence new product and feature explorations especially in enterprisescale APIs
Demonstrate strong relationship and interpersonal skills along with the ability to interact with senior business and technology executives
People leadership experience of product management teams
Experience with API platforms or API management in an enterprise environment
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or similar familiarity with AWS or other Cloud platforms
Excellent oral and written communication and presentations skills across various stakeholders and senior management; ability to synthesize large amounts of information summarize key concepts and articulate relevant issues to senior management
