Join our innovative engineering team as a Software Engineer III and play a pivotal role in designing developing and optimizing software solutions that impact our business and customers directly. This is your chance to work on sophisticated systems mentor junior engineers and contribute to cuttingedge projects that further Adobes presence as a market leader for digital experiences.
What Youll Do
- Design and develop software solutions with a focus on quality testability and scalability.
- Contribute to architecture and design while factoring in business priorities.
- Proactively identify problems with requirements and suggest innovative solutions.
- Lead development reviews offering perspectives based on knowledge and experience.
- Optimize and improve existing systems and designs for better performance and usability.
- Mentor junior engineers and actively share knowledge within and beyond your team.
- Develop and implement robust test strategies ensuring code meets highquality standards.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver impactful features aligned with business goals.
What You Need to Succeed
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering (equivalent education or work experience)
- 3 years of programming experience with 2 years of recent experience in JavaScript technologies (React Node Angular TypeScript E6 etc.
- Strong expertise in software design architecture and common design patterns.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages and ability to debug complex systems.
- Demonstrated experience in mentoring and knowledge sharing across teams.
- Familiarity with secure programming practices and performance optimization techniques.
- Ability to evaluate and integrate relevant opensource technologies.
- Proven track record of delivering impactful software solutions in crossfunctional environments.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate design approaches and solicit feedback.
- A growth mindset with the ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies.
- Bachelors or advanced degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience with: Java Spring Docker Kubernetes RDBMS NoSQL Kafka ElasticSearch AWS GCP.
At Adobe for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC base commission) and shortterm incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Nonsales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and shortterm incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition certain roles may be eligible for longterm incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
