Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Location: 23800 Mercantile Road Beachwood OH 44122
Shift Timings: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Qualifications:
- If you Hold a High School Diploma with at least 2 years of laboratory experience; an Associate Degree in Chemistry or a related field with 1 year of experience; or a BS in Chemistry or a related science with no experience. Have experience with wet chemistry equipment and analytical methods.
- Understand the safe handling of chemicals and equipment including maintaining detailed records. Are capable of safely lifting up to 50 lbs. The position does not require additional medical testing.
Responsibilities:
- As a Technician you will perform laboratory tasks safely handle hazardous chemicals and assist analytical chemists with sample preparation and quality control all while ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
As a Laboratory Technician you will
- Receive and follow instructions for assigned tasks independently executing essential laboratory processes and equipment operations.
- Safely manage a variety of hazardous chemicals including acids R&D samples and waste disposal in accordance with wet chemistry techniques.
- Thrive in a fastpaced highpressure environment while ensuring the timely preparation of various material types.
- Support analytical chemists with daily responsibilities including solid sample preparation liquid sample dilution pipette validation and balance verification.
- Comply with ISO and quality standards to uphold quality control requirements for the position.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to 5S principles.
