About the area
The division of Student Wellbeing and Engagement facilitates a highquality student experience through the provision of integrated and comprehensive services. The division is responsible for the delivery of the UWA Mental Health and Wellbeing Framework and the UWA Safe Respectful and Inclusive Communities Framework. Student Wellbeing and Engagement has five broad areas tertiary prevention through the Complex Case Management team; early intervention cohort initiatives and timely access to low barrier services through the Student Wellbeing team; counselling through the Psychology team; Grand Challenges and the provision of a contemporary onboarding experience through the Student Engagement team; and primary prevention programs and clinical response to genderbased violence through the Safe and Respectful Communities team.
About the opportunity
- You will be responsible for providing highquality psychological assessments and evidencebased treatments for students.
- As a senior member of the Psychology team you will contribute to the overall wellbeing and care of university students.
- Contribute to the Universitys strategic objectives through provision of professional advice participation in decision making and providing guidance on team delivery and evaluation working closely with other members of the service.
About you
- Full registration and endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Clinical Psychologist preferably in a community or education setting.
- Strong clinical skills in assessment formulation and evidencebased psychological interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary service committed to an outstanding student experience.
- Proven ability to consistently produce accurate highquality case notes and documentation for healthcare providers ensuring timely completion and adherence to organisational and professional standards.
