Diagnose troubleshoot and repair electrical and control issues on conveyor systems and automated material handling equipment.
Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system functionality and minimize unplanned downtime.
Interpret electrical schematics wiring diagrams and technical manuals to effectively identify problems and implement solutions.
Install modify and upgrade electrical systems including motors sensors PLCs VFDs and other control components.
Maintain and document accurate records of maintenance work repairs and part usage.
Collaborate with mechanical technicians engineers and operations personnel to identify root causes and improve equipment reliability.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes safety standards and company policies.
Support commissioning and startup of new systems and equipment.
Education & Experience:
Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance preferably with conveyor and material handling systems.
Skills & Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems including AC/DC motors PLCs relays sensors and motor controls.
Familiarity with AllenBradley Siemens or similar control systems is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Experience using electrical testing equipment such as multimeters clamp meters and oscilloscopes.
Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
Safetyconscious with understanding of OSHA and NFPA70E regulations.
Ability to work in an industrial environment with exposure to moving machinery noise dust and varying temperatures.
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs standing walking climbing ladders and working at heights or in confined spaces.
