Job Description
Overview
Sagewell is located at 3518 Drawbridge Parkway (inside MedCenter Greensboro) Greensboro NC 27410. For more information please visit: Lifeguard promotes overall water safety for members utilizing the pool area. Working under close supervision for routine situations this job provides a safe sanitary pool environment to encourage use of pool for fitness relaxation and recreation.
Responsibilities
Enforces pool rules to prevent injury and responds to emergency situations.
Supports all daily opening and closing procedures such as chemical testing and reporting managing pool space and turning off all equipment.
Teaches water safety principles swimming techniques and stroke development to improve swimmers abilities.
Helps promote fitness programs and assists the aquatic department in maintaining equipment and cleanliness standards.
Performs other duties as assigned.
