Location:40 Devereux Way Red Hook NY 12571
Positions include:
Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Teacher Assistant (TA)
Assistant Residential Manager (ARM)
Available Shifts: Fulltime and parttime available. Days 7am3pm Evenings 3pm11pm Overnights 11pm7am Weekends (varied shifts).
Pay rates:
For DSPs and TAs
With HS Diploma/GED $18.50 $19.79 per hour
With BA/BS $19.50 $20.86 per hour
With MA/MS or higher $20.50 $21.93 per hour
For ARMs
With HS Diploma/GED: $21.00 $22.47 per hour
With BA/BS: $22.00 $23.54 per hour
With MA/MS or higher: $23.00 $24.61 per hour

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health New York provides programs and services for children and adults with intellectual disabilities Autism Spectrum Disorder and dual diagnoses. Located in Red Hook NY 12571 positions at Devereux are responsible for assisting individuals in daily activities including health and personal management achieving personal goals recreation and daily household living as well as maintaining a safe and therapeutic treatment environment that meets the physical emotional and personal needs of program individuals while improving functioning and minimizing interfering behaviors.

Qualifications
- HS diploma/GED
- Experience preferred but not required
- Valid NY Drivers License (required for some but not all positions)
- Be flexible patient energetic creative and have a sense of humor.
- Have a strong passion for working with and helping children and adults with special needs.
Physical Requirements: Preemployment physical required. Significant and frequent amounts of walking sitting stooping bending & standing required. Frequent planned outside activities causing exposure to sunlight and heat. Speaking and hearing ability sufficient to communicate effectively by phone or in person at normal volumes. Vision adequate to read correspondence computer screen forms etc. Good manual dexterity.
