Position Summary:
As an Assistant Center Manager you will be enrolled in a comprehensive management training program designed to equip you with the skills and experience necessary to manage a highperforming medical practice. This role provides handson training in all aspects of practice operations including financial management leadership development patient flow coordination and team supervision. Youll gain indepth knowledge of each function within the center and play a key role in driving the efficiency growth and patient satisfaction of the practice.
Job Duties & Essential Functions:
- Collaborate with the Center Manager and Regional Operations Manager (ROM) to understand and manage financial performance and meet/exceed budget goals.
- Participate in structured training programs covering leadership team management compliance patient care coordination and more.
- Support the management of physician schedules and surgical coordination to ensure optimal flow and patient care.
- Assist in supervising front desk clinical and technical teams; ensure alignment with company policies and healthcare compliance regulations (including HIPAA).
- Act as a liaison between front and backoffice operations to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
- Identify operational challenges and implement action plans in collaboration with leadership to drive improvement.
- Lead onboarding and ongoing development of new hires to promote consistent training and growth.
- Monitor safety regulatory compliance and company standards within the practice.
- Manage daily staff scheduling attendance timeoff requests and workload distribution.
- Promote a positive inclusive and productive work environment through leadership and coaching.
- Assist with performance evaluations and disciplinary procedures in partnership with ROM/CM.
- Maintain office inventory and coordinate supply ordering with procurement to ensure cost control.
- Engage directly with patients to ensure satisfaction collect copays and provide topquality care.
- Special projects and other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the medical field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience supervising or managing team members.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professionalism with a patientfocused attitude.
- Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
- Open availability including flexibility to work early mornings evenings and weekends.
- Proficiency with computers Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ophthalmology experience strongly preferred
Work Schedule:
- Rotating Schedule days evenings and weekends
Salary Range:
- $30.00 $34.00/hour to commensurate with experience
